Contact Hush
Before booking a consultation, we recommend calling for a complimentary project assessment.
Contact Hush Soundproofing
Start with a quick call. We’ll confirm what type of noise you’re dealing with (airborne, impact, or mechanical), how it’s traveling, and whether the issue is best solved with soundproofing, acoustic treatment, or both. If it’s a good fit, we’ll recommend the next step.
Start here: complimentary project assessment call
This is the fastest way to get direction without wasting time or money. On the call we’ll cover:
- Noise type: voices/TV, footfall/impact, vibration/mechanical hum
- Primary path: wall, ceiling, floor, door, windows, ductwork, or flanking routes
- Feasibility: what’s realistic for your building type and constraints
- Next step: DIY guidance, contractor scope, or a paid on-site consultation
If you’re trying to separate “echo reduction” from “soundproofing,” read How to Soundproof a Room.
What to send us (so we can diagnose quickly)
Send any of the below and we’ll move faster:
- Address + building type: condo/co-op, rental, commercial, hotel
- Where you hear it: bedroom wall, ceiling above bed, corridor door, etc.
- Dimensions of the area being soundproofed: L x W x H
- When it happens: night, weekends, cycling, constant, footsteps only
- Short video: 10–20 seconds with the sound (even if subtle)
- Photos: walls/ceilings, penetrations, vents, doors, windows

Consultation options
We keep this simple. The goal is accurate diagnosis, a buildable scope, and predictable noise reduction.
- Free call assessment: quick direction and next-step recommendation.
- Paid vitual consultation: virtual walk through, evaluation, scope you can execute.
- Paid on-site consultation: field evaluation, measurements as needed, and a clear scope you can execute.
Consultation policy: If the project moves forward, the consultation fee is applied toward the construction scope. If we determine your noise issue cannot be addressed with a reasonable scope, the fee is refunded.
For typical assemblies and options, start at: Wall Soundproofing, Ceiling Soundproofing, Floor Soundproofing, and Soundproof Door.
What to expect after you contact us
- We review your info (noise type, location, building conditions).
- We call you to confirm the transmission path and constraints.
- We recommend the next step (scope guidance or on-site consult).
- You receive a clear plan focused on noise reduction, sound reduction, and avoiding flanking paths.
Book an on-site consultation
If you’re ready to book, use the calendar below. If you’re not sure yet, start with the complimentary call first—most people do.

FAQ
Do acoustic panels soundproof? No. Panels are for echo reduction and speech intelligibility inside a room. Soundproofing requires isolation assemblies (walls/ceilings/floors/doors) and airtight detailing.
Why does noise still come through “thick walls”? Flanking paths and air leaks routinely bypass heavy construction. The details matter more than the marketing.
Can you help with mechanical noise? Yes. If the noise is a hum/rumble/tonal cycling, start at Mechanical Noise.

- Video call walkthrough (space + conditions)
- Identify likely noise type + transmission path (airborne / impact / mechanical)
- High-level strategy (walls, ceiling, doors, penetrations)
- Practical next steps + rough cost guidance
- Field measurements
- Drawings
- Written report
Residential • On-Site
Residential Consultation
Best for: clients ready to move forward with a buildable scope.
- On-site walkthrough (construction conditions + constraints)
- Identify flanking paths (returns, chases, slabs, penetrations)
- Detailed sound reduction approach (assembly-level)
- Refined budget range tied to scope options
- Written report (unless separately requested)
Commercial
Commercial Consultation
Best for: offices, restaurants, gyms, retail, hotels, and mixed-use spaces.
- On-site evaluation (noise sources + building acoustics conditions)
- Isolation vs. treatment plan (sound reduction + echo reduction)
- Coordination notes (HVAC, access panels, penetrations, doors)
- Buildable scope direction for GC / trades
- Stamped engineering
- Formal written report (unless separately requested)
Documentation
Acoustical Analysis Report
Best for: legal, board, landlord, or documentation needs.
- Field evaluation + measurement as needed
- Existing condition analysis + transmission path narrative
- Performance-based recommendations
- Formal deliverable suitable for stakeholders
- Scope depends on access, building type, and objectives
If the project moves forward, the consultation fee is applied toward the construction scope. If we determine the issue cannot be addressed with a reasonable scope, the fee is refunded.
